The Old life, Chapter 27
Appearing infront of a circus tent Sazna smirked at the cage that stood infront of her. Inside were three black leopardes. Two of them were males, one just a cub and the other with sparkling lime green eyes watching over the pup. A thought then popped into her head, 'Could this really be the girls pet'. She went to prove that is was by calling out his name. At first he did not respond only kept his gaze at the playful cub that was playing with its' tail. A second time she called out his name but this time in a more sweet voice that resembled her humans. Then and only then did he turn to face her, " Saga...is that you?" Grinning wide Sazna answered the feline, "You can say that. I am Sazna, the demon living in her mind." "I see.....I would rather speak to her then you. I have to tell her about the new life that me and my mate have created." "I'm happy for you but she will not return until I'm satisfied with my work and you are apart of it." Sadow gave a questioned look as Sazna walked past the cage and into the tent. Before she got into it, Sadows mate got and stretched before rubbing her head under his chin. She rummbled softly at him asking him what was going on. "Nothing go back to sleep".
Sazna looked around inside the tent, looking for the man in charge. She then caought him sitting on the bleachers, his head down with his fingers limp in his hair. The man looked up from the ground hearing her foot steps. "What do you want child? You missed the last show, come back in a week," the man sounded miserable. His small money pouch was filled mostly with air, 1/4 of it was moeny that people gave to see the show. "I have not come to find the next show, I want one of your black leoparde". 'Don't forget about Sadow's family!' Sazna blinked at the sound of my voice. "I mean all of them." "What! They are all I have for this useless circus and a small group of acrobats." "There are other jobs out in the village old man. I've seen many help wanted signs so you should be able to get a job very easily."
The man sighed shaking his head not know what to do. Sazna did not take a liking to this mans slowly decision and told him the one thing that would definitly make him hand then over to her. "Do you know who gave them to you...." "Yah, a guy with glasses gave them to me." "That guy works for Orochimaru." The ring master thrusted his head back up, looking at the girl with trembling eyes, along with his body. "I am not here to take you in. I'm only here to take those black leopardes."
The man sighed again before getting up from his spot and taking out his keys. once outside he opened the cage releasing the tamed animals. Before going back into the tent Sazna spoke to the old man, telling to do a job that he enjoys or is best at. Along with those words she gave him half of the money she had on her. After the long negotiation Sazna sent Sadow's family to Mafuca, with the protection of a clone, where they would be safe.
That night Sazna returned to the depths of Saga's mind, letting her take control again. I slept peacefully as Sadow slept by my feet. Happy that Sazna was able to get his family and send them to Mafuca. Maybe her demon, that demon, wasn't as bad as she thought and maybe the others aren't either.
