The Old Life, Chapter 26
The trees in the area unrooted themselves from the ground, directing itself at me and Boda. Nyatta's team had already left, leaving us to witness her jutsu on our own. The amount of chakra she was off my charts and with a motion of her index and middle finger tips the trees flew into our direction. It took us a while to get our feet moving, barely dodging the first one the other two at our tails.
Boda was always ready for an attack since all you need to do for a bomb is the strike a match and light the string. For me I only have my jutsu's. At a time like this i wish i brought my sword.
I used my transformatoin jutsu on the trees, slowly turning thier long, rugged form into a smooth lion. I had no use of the lions so Boda blow them up. While this was going on, Nyatta was still releasing her rage on us. Before going to battle with her, me and Boda thought up a plan to end this horrible event.
"Where are you!?" Nyatta yelled out, anger obiviously taken over. Then from the corner of her eye she spooted us, but only to see her lover being in held in the arms of the enemy a kunai pressing against his neck. "Lee-kun....no let him go!" As those words slipped out of her lips the chakra flow was cut off but her body was still stiff, ready to make a move. "He's mine until you stand down!" Without hesitation, she collapsed to her knees, "Please let him go, I'd die without him.." It was so sad that Boda undid the transformation jutsu returning to her normal form. Boda tried to explain to the girl what was going on and why but she was so embarresed that she left without a word.
Once we got back to the training area Grimu was waiting for us along with Gaara and Vocami. It was a surprise to see Gaara, espcially when Vocami and Grimu weren't injured. As we got closer gaara looked from the ground to me, sending butterflies from my stomach into my head causing my sight to get blurry. That feeling soon left as I saw the look in his eyes. They didn't have it's usaul cold feeling to them, they were a golden orange and felt savage-like.
Gaara wanted to talk to me, so we waited until my team was out of sight. "Bring her out.." "Bring who out? Are you talking about one of my demons?" "Sazna..." With that my eyes slowly turned blood red, my posture becoming straighter and dominate. "It's been awhile Shakaku. It seems you found a suitable human." "I did not choose him, his father did. So, were you able to get your tail." "Sadly no, however I'm going to give my human a tail when the transformation is complete." Suddenly Gaara's right arm was slowly being consumed by sand forming Shakaku's arm. "Are you anger at me for letting those two join me?" Shakaku did not respond, only narrowing his eyes at my stomach and heart. The homes of Gazo and Rozna. "I'll take that as a yes," getting bored of this conversation Sazna closed her eyes taking in the area around her. Her thoughts moving through the village of Khonoha looking for something interesting. Then she heared a black leoparde roaring loudly to the sound of giggles and clapping. "Sorry to end this but I think I just found an old friend." The wind soon picked up and as it did Sazna disappeared.
