After two days Steven set out a call. “Pirate ship, I sighted off the port bow, Captain!”
“Whose ship do you see?” Capt. Deep asked.
There was a moment where no one said anything, and then he replied “I don’t know Captain!”
Capt. Deep called Dojer up to the wheel to steer, and she climbed up to the crows’ nest. She took out her telescope and looked through. She couldn’t quite tell whose ship it was, but they obviously wanted to have something to do with Capt. Deep and her crew.
“We’ll just keep going ahead steady. Maybe they don’t want a thing to do with us.” Capt. Deep said.
Capt. Deep slid down the rope that took her up to the crows’ nest and walked up to her place at the wheel. Dojer headed back down to the deck and swabbed with some of the other crewmates. The ship that had been spotted left them alone until that evening, when twilight was setting in…
