The two ships stopped side-by-side, and the commodore and Capt. Deep exchanged words.
“So you’re coming back to your birth town, are you?” The commodore smirked.
“Aye, but not to visit memories, mind you Jack; but I’m going to take something from you, like I have in the past and always will.”
The commodore glared at her, and pointed his long blade at her, but still never came anywhere near her. “You will do no such thing as long as I’m here to stop you.”
“Then I guess I’ll have to make sure you aren’t there, won’t I?”
And the fight began, when Capt. Deep leapt across the six foot space between the ships and fought with the commodore.
Will locked the door, and heard the screaming and sword clanging above. He could hear Charlie and Dojer fighting with three other naval men. There was the sound of swords clanging together, and then someone fell. He hoped it wasn’t Dojer or Charlie.
He continued to clean himself, until he couldn’t smell the scents anymore, and he could change into his typical pirate clothes.
Capt. Deep was at the same time fighting with the commodore on his own ship. They fought with their swords high, their swords low, and their swords at each others throats. The commodore pinned her down and Capt. Deep managed to save herself by saying “so I guess this won’t be a conversation about your son then will it?”
He let his guard down momentarily and she could kick him off of her. They fought until the commodore’s blood stained his white shirt.
He backed away, and put down his sword. “Until next time?” He asked.
“Always.” Capt. Deep replied.
He lunged for her and knocked her into the sea, and Capt. Deep gurgled out and the commodore and she fought with him in the water. She dunked him under, and he wriggled his way up and then dunked her. She found it harder to get up, and then she took her sword and rammed it into his leg.
He let go, and then swam away, in an obvious surrender. The men ran back to their ship when the commodore climbed into the ship before Capt. Deep and sailed away.
The pirates cheered and helped Capt. Deep up into her ship. Capt. Deep went up to her ship, “Alright mates, let’s move on from this place! I can almost taste the treasure in our stocks! That key is only a few miles away, and it’s ours for the taking!”
The pirates cheered once again, joy ringing throughout the sea. “Sing with me mates!” Capt. Deep said. “Yo ho, yo ho a pirate’s life for me…”
