Today was my second day as a student at a local community college. The first thing I did was take a photo for my student ID. Then it was straight to class.
I arrived before the teacher and the rest of the class. Honestly, I haven't been this punctual in a long time. Perhaps it's because I also haven't been this determined for just as long.
Anyway, class went very well. I don't know which one will be easier, College Success or Intro to Comm, but I know Intro to Comm will be more fun. Tomorrow I'll be attending an evening writing class.
The funniest thing about this experience is that this isn't my first time being in college. I used to on-campus at a university back home in MD and I loved it then. Even though I'm obviously not doing that at my current school, I'm still just as giddy as the first time I explored the campus and found my own silent nooks and hangout spots for my clique.
I'm going to continue taking it one day at a time to make sure I don't burn out early (or at all, preferably).
