they fought all night and blood dripped down the sides of wither ship. not many were killed, only one or two were badly hurt, but the blood that dripped would give one the impression of many dying. then capt. deep saw what they were headed for. the ship graveyard. it was a mass of tall, sharp rocks that had very narrow if any passage space between two rocks. there was one rock that had a sort of bowl shape mising from it, and there were skeltons from where people had been shipwrecked and unable to escape. she quickly abandoned the fight, and let her red sails flutter as they may and she found the rutter. the thunderbirds were begining to retreat, and capt. deep saw their game. they were going to leave capt. deep to sink to the botom of the ocean whle they snuck away with little markings on them. capt. deep was concocting a plan to turn the tables on them, and she told it to her crew, who isnatantly began preperations to fulfill her marvelous plan.
