the boy seemed unfazed by the fact that zombie pirates were slowly creeping towards him, and capt. deep wondered if he was alright. "you alright mate?" she asked in a cooing voice. the boy turned his gaze to her. "im fine, but you wont be unless you release me" capt deep didnt quite understand, but she let him go. as soon as the boy was out of her grasp, the zombie pirates lunged for her. capt. deep was unarmed at the moment, and unprepared. a small medalion around the boys neck began to glow in furry, and he commanded them to stop. the zombie pirates cryed out in pain, a sound that capt. deep thought for sure she'd never hear. she was bleeding, but she was alive. "my rescuer..." he said to the pirates. he was pointing at capt. deep. the zombie pirates seemed to have taken up a new respect for her. capt. deep pulled her sword closer to her side and tighter in her palm. the boy walked up to her. "i must take them back with me. fear not of ever being threatened by this crew again." and he turned to take the crew with him. then capt. deep understood. he was the caretaker of the zombi pirates. she fearewd for him, but also felt relieved. she turned to face her crew as the fog lifted and the ship sailed away. "hoist anchor!" capt. deep cried out. "thats an order! we have a treasure to find, mates! what are we lounging about for?" the crew immediately raced about to their stations, and capt. deep returned to her post at the wheel, and it was as though nothing had ever stopped them. but something was coming their way to postpone them even longer. a storm...
