Several Blank Scrolls: There are four blank scrolls pinned to the inside lining of his jacket, two on each side.
Writing brush: A simple brush that is kept in a pocket on the inside of Hanbei's jacket.
Ink: A small bottle that carries four ounces of ink is kept next to the brush in Hanbei's jacket.

Using this technique Hanbei can form a small acorn in his hand that is highly explosive and functions much like a grande. By taking a seed from any plant and infusing it with Fire chakra, Hanbei can bypass the need to create an acorn from scratch with Wood chakra reducing the chakra cost slightly. When the cap is removed from the acorn it becomes an "active" explosive and when the acorn hits a target, either by being thrown, smashed into it, or hit by it, it will explode. The resulting explosion is about 8 feet in diameter and will leave light burns as well as break the bones around the impact area after throwing an unprepared target back five feet.

Rose Whip can only be performed in an area with exposed ground, or an area with ground that is only hidden by something like a simple floor. By putting chakra into the ground the user can then summon thorned vines and stab, slash and wrap their opponent with them. Any shinobi below A rank can only create two vines and can only support them for two posts. At A rank and above one can create up to four vines and support them for three posts. These vines are in no way being controlled as though they were alive, rather, they can be called to do simple actions once. If they miss their mark and do not hit their opponent, or entangle them, they will fall to the ground and fade when their time is up as mentioned prior.
Significant Conditions
Hanbei is completely deaf in both of his ears, but is incredibly adept in reading lips and basic sign language. Also, being a descendant of Yamato, Hanbei has miraculously inherited a portion of the Senju cells that were injected into him, and now has access to Wood Release
Achievements
Hanbei graduated from the academy at the top of his Shinobi class.
