Throwing a Devil May Cry gaming party? Or a Devil May Cry cosplay party? Maybe even both? If so, you can’t have a party dealing with Devil May Cry without some important things. If these things aren’t there then it’s not a real DMC party. It should be something that Dante himself would be proud of.
1. You must have a pizza or something pizza related. We all know that Dante loves pizza and he’s not picky about the toppings on it. Though, according to the anime he doesn’t like olives and he would always specify to not have any on his pizza. But olives always end up on his pizza and he still eats it.
Anyway, if actual pizzas aren’t your thing there’s always other alternatives. Here are some food that would still appropriately fit the DMC theme: Pizza rolls, pizza bagels, pizza flavored potato chips, pizza pasta casserole, pizza lasagna, etc.
2. For dessert the obvious choice would be strawberry sundaes or anything strawberry flavored (such as chocolate covered strawberries). If you don’t want only strawberry sundaes or want more desserts for your party other sweet treats that can work just as well are strawberry granita, strawberry souffle, strawberry shortcake, strawberry cake, strawberry cookies, etc.
3. As for drinks, well it depends on what kind of party you’re throwing. As a default, I suggest soda. Why? Dante’s favorite drinks are tomato juice, beer and Jack Daniels. If you and your guest aren’t of legal age to be drinking alcohol then I doubt you all would want to drink tomato juice. So soda would your best choice…though it wouldn’t hurt to have some tomato juice just in case (and it’s good for you — might even give you powers).
There are some other things to think about when throwing a DMC party, such as games to play besides the video game series but I’ll leave that up to the host to figure it out for themselves.
