"What do we do?" Danni asked in her serious, yet scared tone. I hardly ever hear her speak like that.
"Neutralize them." Was my cold response.
"Neutralize them?! They arn't these ******** science experiments running around. These are people, Blind. ******** innocent people." Blair replied, a little more than angry.
"Yes, but they are killing other innocents. Our own friends. They are rising against our Militia with one of their own. We must stop it. Either we stop them, or they stop us. If you don't want to go on the mission, then just opt out. If you can stomach it, well, I need all the help I can get. From reports, there are a lot. Including a few minor Biotics and other Ubelmen. It wont be easy. It wont be clean. But it's something we must do."

"I'll do it. I've done worse." Alex said. I knew he would join.
"Sure. I can do it." Kit said.
"Anything you ask, Commander. Semper Fidelis." Callahan said. Always the Marine.
"Any others?" I asked.
"******** no. I don't want innocent blood on my hands." Danni said.
"Me neither." Elizabeth added.
"I've killed enough innocents. All they are doing is protecting where they live. If it were the Empire, it would be different. Remember, when you come back, your hands will be stained." Fox said, deep in thought.

We shipped out. SCAR-H, M1014, .357 Magnums, M29, UMP 45 and an M16 for my loadout. Alex with his signature M4A1, Desert Eagle and USP 45, and the M249. Kit with her dual M9's, a FAMAS, AA-12 and a few flashbangs.
Callahad had his M4A1 and USP 45 also, but a SPAS-12 and M1911 as well.
We were set.

We dropped on the seen, in the midst of a run-down crumbling underpass. It was storming. Hard.
"Mavis! Over here! What's going on?"
"Blind! ******** A, bout time ya get here. The Militia, callin themselves the "Liberated Solace People" are wasting our men. They have us outgunned, and out powered. Lot'sa Ubelmen around. Keep a heavy hand, and sharp wit. They are just up ahead, past the underpass."
"Thanks. We'll deal with em."

It's time to wake up, and realize what this war is about.
