Welcome to the lower birth, the greatest show unearthed~!
'What am I supposed to do now...?'
Valentine was sitting on a bench, watching people and cars go back and forth with his single red eye. Grim sat on his shoulder, looking around with wide eyes. The cat's claws were digging into his shoulder, but it didn't seem to bother Valentine.
A gust of wind blew a newspaper into his face, snapping the pale teenager out of his thoughts. Valentine blinked, grabbing the newspaper before it could get blown away. He stared down at it, a headline catching his attention. He began reading it. 'A serial killer called B...?' He grinned. 'Huh... who would've thought...'
It seemed the killer was still on the loose too. Valentine dropped the newspaper to the ground and leaned back in the bench, staring up at the sky. 'A serial killer, huh...?'
"Welcome to the lower birth, the Greatest Show Unearthed. We appear without a sound, the darkest show around," Adriyan nodded eagerly, putting a few of the word’s to the tune.
Valentine echoed, "We will leave you in a daze, madness, murder, dismay."
Glancing down at the poem once more, the two grinned ear to ear and sang two lines together. "We will disappear at night with blood on the concrete!" The two exploded in giggles.
Valentine grinned, standing up. "I think I know what to do now~" The fifteen-year old giggled, looking at Grim. "But first..."
---
Valentine looked up at the building in front of him. Local's pointed him here when he asked if they knew a good seamstress. He reached out and knocked on the door. "Hellooooo~ Anybody home?"
The door opened after a few minutes, revealing a woman with white hair and pale blue eyes, wearing a long black dress. She looked at Valentine. "Yes...?"
The black-haired teenager grinned. "You're good at sewing stuff, right?" when she nodded, Valentine continued, "I have a request~"
---
"Let me get this straight. You want me to sew this," the woman, she had introduced herself as Hinabi Gysuki, held up a circle of black fabric, with a red heart stitched onto it. "Over your eye?"
Giggling, Valentine nodded his head. "Yup~"
Hinabi stared at him for a moment, before sighing. "Alright."
Valentine grinned.
"Let me get my sewing utensils..."
He watched the woman leave the room, before thinking about why he wanted the unfinished eye-patch sewn over his eye.
It was October the Thirteenth, Friday Thirteen's birthday.
"Fridaaaay~"
The woman looked up and smiled. "Valentine, look." She held up the eye-patch she was working on. Her adopted son had wanted one to go with his gothic mad hatter outfit for Halloween, and Friday had cheerfully agreed to make it for him.
Valentine eyed the unfinished eye-patch. "It's okay, I suppose~" He grinned. "But you can finish that later. I wanna go shopping~"
"Huh?" Friday blinked, sitting her work down. "Why?"
"Just becauuuse~" Valentine grabbed her by the wrist and began dragging her out the room. "C'mon!"
"Alright. Shall we get started then?"
Hinabi's voice snapped Valentine out of his thoughts. He blinked, looking over at the white-haired woman, before grinning and nodding.
---
Valentine looked in the mirror and grinned at his reflection. He tentatively touched the eye-patch sewn over his left eye, before turning to Hinabi. "Heehee, thanks!"
Hinabi was putting her sewing utensils away. "You're welcome, I suppose..." She paused, looking over at Valentine. "I couldn't help but notice... You have a bloody future ahead of you..."
"Huh?" Valentine blinked.
Hinabi shook her head. "It's nothing."
"No, no, no!" The pale teenager leaned forward, grinning. "Are you a fortune teller or something?" When the woman nodded, he started giggling. "That's so cool~" An idea struck him. "Hey... Can I ask you something?"
---
"Hey... Hey, Hinabi! Mari!" Valentine called to the two women. "Hurry up, you guys are so slooooow!"
"Shut up, Valentine!" Marionette frowned. "He's so annoying." she muttered to the white-haired woman beside her.
"Yes." Hinabi nodded, before noticing something. She frowned. "Sir Valentine, you better hope those bloodstains don't stain anything!"
Valentine grinned. "Whatever you say, Hi~na~biiii~" He giggled, petting the cat in his arms.
We appear without a sound, the darkest show around! We will leave you in a daze - Madness, murder, dismay! We will disappear at night, with blood on the concrete...
"La, lalala, lalalalalalalaaaa~"
