Shadows Heart (a redone version) : part 1

"I stand alone in the middle of a desert full of black sand. I look around in every direction seeing the desert go on for what seems like forever which makes me feel all the more alone. i start walking in the direction i am already facing and i walk for days endlessly. I never get tired, thirsty, or hungry so i just keep walking endlessly going nowhere for a seeming eternity. i finally decide that it is worthless to go anywhere in this place and i stand looking around like i had been when i started. then i hear a cracking sound and something like cloth against the sand and i quickly turn around to see a clothed face a few inches from mine and it causes me to stumble back. i see it point at me with a pale hand that was very bony and the nails were sharpened to a point. i heard it speak in a low, hoarse voice in a odd language i try pushing up wanting to know were i was but then i start sinking the black sand turning into what looked and felt like an ocean of darkness. it floods over me as i slowly sink the cloaked figure watching and then there is nothing but darkness"

i looked out to my class seeing the different looks i was getting after reading i paper we had to right and read out to the class. the class was split into two topics. people who picked a sport and did a short paper on it or do the same type of paper but talk about your dream the night after the assignment. for me it was easy considering i had really only one dream. i start figuring out the looks. most the jocks thought i was a freak while the preppy girls seem scared of what i had written. i see my friend Lilith smiling at me and shot me a thumbs up trying to encourage me. i look to my left seeing a worried teacher. "you may sit down now Allen" he said in a bit of a startled tone. i go sit down next to Lilith having handed the paper to my teacher. "great story Allen, you blew the s**t out of all these maggots minds" she said with a laugh to me while a sit calmly looking at the teacher timidly call the next student "well you know what they say Lilith, the truth his the scariest thing out there" i said watching a cocky jock come up and talk about football.


the rest of the class moved at the speed of a sloth until finally the bell rang telling us that we could go to our new class making the school day all that much closer to ending. i pack my things slowly in no hurry to go to my next class and when i get everything all put away and my pack on my shoulder i head to the halls but i feel a hand grab my shoulder stopping me. "Allen, we need to talk" he said going in front of me and closing his door. i sigh and walk over to his desk with him. he sits down and looks at me with a concerned look "was that paper you read true?" he asked his voice sharing the same concern as his expression. i nod causing him to nod as well and move to his next question "how are things with at home Allen? is anything going at home to cause such dark dreams?" he asked and i think about what he said. my parents were not around having gotten into a car crash a year after i was born. it was in the winter and a freak snow storm had hit and as a result the car slid out of control and was driven off a cliff. the impact killed both of them and left me with a scar across my neck that Lilith said look looked bad a**. i was taken in by my grandparents who love and care for me like i was their own child. "no sir, my grandparents run an amazing household that would put any other home to shame" i say with pride. i see the teachers eyes go to my scar as i speak and i snap causing him to look up at me in surprise at being caught "well um.... i think you should talk to the councilor and take the paper so she can read it" he said writing me a slip to go to the councilor office and i take it along with my dream paper and started making my way their
