Title: darkness and light



i realize that many poeple fear the dark and love the light but i never understood that. darkness is scary because you cant see whats in it but with light you can see everything about whats inside of it. i thought there was a secret joy in being in light so i would try and chase light and make it my own. but whenever i tried i find myself deeper in the dark. i looked around looking for the light but the darkness was the only thing. i thought i was going to be suffacated by the darkness. hours, days, months, i couldnt tell inside the darkness. it was always there no matter where i was. i grew to like the feeling. i then knew that the darkness wasnt to be feared. its light to those who are lost. so then i accepted the darkness as my light and that of all those lost in this world. and thats why those in the light fear and hate it. they hate and fear it because they have never been lost in there lives. never hurt from the loss of a family member. they've never cried from a cheating lover. and knowing that made me feel sorry that they've missed out on so much and envy them at the same time for never having to. so i guess ill stay in my darkness till it decides to go away. how about you ?
