Amber: (about 11) *hanging on one of the riggings, watching the sea*

*a strong gust of wind blows around her*

Amber: *grips the ropes tighter* Hrn...

*wind blows stronger*

Amber: *pulls herself against the rope, frowning* Mr. Slade!

Mr. Slade: *looks down from the crow's nest* Yes Captain?

Amber: What's with the wind??

Mr. Slade: Not sure Captain. Perhaps Jin is at it again.

Amber: *climbs up to the crow's nest* Who?

Mr. Slade: Well, we're approaching the United Kingdom and Ireland, and there's a fable around these parts of a wind demon by the name of Jin.

Amber: So why's he so pissy?

Mr. Slade: *chuckles* Actually, my dear Captain, Jin kicks up windstorms like this when he's happy.

Amber: *looks into the clouds, then shouts* HEY JIN!! WHAT'RE YA SO HAPPY 'BOUT??

Jin: *swoops down in front of them, grinning* Ah, no reason lassie, jus' that ah'm graced with the presence of a beaut of a bonnie.

Amber/Mr. Slade: *yelp in surprise*

Amber: Y-you exsist?

Jin: Why of course ah exist! Whaddya think yah're lookin' at?

Mr. Slade: This is amazing...

Jin: *looks at Mr. Slade* Why thank yah sir. *looks back at Amber* As yah know, ah'm Jin, Master of the skies and wind. And who might yah be, lass?

Amber: *clears her throat* I-I'm Captain Amber Swayne, captain of the good ship Motley, and daughter of Charles and Jenevieve Swayne.

Jin: *ears perk up and his eyebrows raise* THE Amber Swayne? Well it's a pleasure tah finally meetcha lass! *shakes her hand vigorously*

Amber: Uh, right back at you!

Jin: 'Ave you ever flown, lass?

Amber: Well I fell off of here once.

Jin: *laughs* C'mon, I'll show yeh 'round the sky.

Amber: *looks at Mr. Slade*

Mr. Slade: *hesitates, then nods*

Jin: Well c'mon then, here we go! *wraps his arms around her chest and shoots up into the sky*

Amber: *screams, eyes wide open and bright green*

Jin: *laughs* Like it up here, darlin'? *thinking* Lord, this bird's got fine knockers... (lol, if you can decode that you are either a huge perv or you're irish)

Amber: Are you kidding? *spreads her arms like wings* This is the most fun I've had in my life!

//Three years later//

Amber: *kissing Jin softly in the crow's nest*

Jin: *breaks it* Amber?

Amber: *smiles at him* Yeah?

Jin: Ah don't really know how ta say this, but... Ah have to go.

Amber: What do you mean?

Jin: Me an' a coupla brutes 'ave been rounded up to brawl at the Dark Tournament.

Amber: You WHAT??

Jin: *winces* Ah swear ah'll be back soon for yeh, but ah--

Amber: You can't go! What if you die??

Jin: *laughs* Darlin', ah'm the best there ever was!

Amber: I'm coming with you. *stubborn*

Jin: The Dark Tourney is no place for humans, you could get hurt, an' then ah'd have to rip some poor bloke's 'ead right off his shoulders. 'Sides, it'll be broadcasted on the telly!

Amber: I can't just let you go Jin!

Jin: *kisses her softly* Yeh're gonna haf'ta, lass... *flies off*

Amber: JIN!!!!

Jin: *sends back over the wind, very faintly* Love yeh...

Amber: *slumps into a chair, frowning*

//If Amber WASN'T in the Tourney...//

//Two months later//

Crew: *crowded into a pub onshore, eyes glued to the television, see Jin walk onto the platform along with Yusuke*

Amber: There he is!

Random bar guy: I know, that Yusuke Urameshi is somethin', eh?

Amber: *gives him a WTF look* Uh, no. Jin's gonna kick his puny little butt. *looks back at the TV*

Jin: *looking at Yusuke, says softly* Lucky eyes yeh got... *looks out into the crowd, annoyed* Dammit, ah can't believe the ruckus they're washin' up, yeh can't even make a thought!! *smiles* 'Course, ah wouldn't mind if t'werent for the ears.

Amber: *grins as he starts making small talk to Yusuke* Atta boy Jin, distract him!

Jack: He's gettin' awful friendly with the human.

Amber: So? He's gonna grind him into the pavement, might as'well give him a last laugh.

Jin: Jus' a good ol' fight to find the strongest guy is all! *laughs, then looks directly at the cameras pointing at them* Oh, and by the by... *winks and kicks up his wind* Hiya Amber! Toldja ah'd make it. Here's lookin' at you, lass!

Amber: *blushes, grinning*

Jack: *frowns*

Mr. Slade: *chuckles a bit* Has something been going on between you two that we don't know about?

Amber: Maybe.. *giggles*
