I opened the door for some guy because it was locked and he gave me a little bow while saying 'thank you'! I swear, it was so cute! It made me really happy. Not because I felt all powerful or anything, but because I'm not accustomed to it and I always wanted to be able to experience this simple, common gesture because... well... I love Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc. culture! I've never been able to travel to an Asian country, though.
