Deeper into the forest, there is an area where the light manages to enter through a huge gap in the woods. Sitting there on a tree stump, a bard is holding a lyre with one hand and stroking the delicate strings with the other. A melody of such beauty echoes amongst the woods as each note is played with such clarity as the bard continues to flick the strings softly. Sitting on his own, he plays alone where no one can listen to this pastoral tune.
His visits to his hometown of Evergreene are hardly of such regularity, as his appearances in the town are barely noticeable by the residents living there. His lack of openness to express his feelings freely to others suggests his preference to take a lonelier and quieter approach to life. This way, people become accustomed to not noticing him due to his quiet and timid nature. His existence in this world remains a weak entity.
As it shortly arrives at dusk, a black veil slowly spreads across the sky where stars appear so bright in the clearest of skies, flashing brilliantly along with their neighbouring stars. A faint but beautiful light emerges slowing from the darkness as a yellow glow floating gently along with the accompanying breeze. The leaves in the trees rustle softly while the breeze carries these glows across the fields of flowers and grassland, leaving a thin trail of light behind. The bard stands next to a tree, watching intently at the stars with his eyes fixed towards the sky.
“Louisa,” he whispers.
A trail of light crosses the sky.
