It arrives at dawn where the sun begins to ascend further into the sky, shining down its golden rays of light upon the small picturesque town of Evergreene. In the town square, the windmill gives out a soft creaking noise as the strong southerly winds blow each of its stiff wooden blades round and round.

In the fields of Evergreene, the grass is luscious as ever, swaying back and forth by the gentle breeze while the flowers stretch out their delicate petals in the warm sunlight. Lilac and jasmine fill the air with their wonderful smells as the flowers release their sweet-smelling aromas into the sky. The wind carries these scents afar, spreading across the streets of Evergreene. Residents always come outside to enjoy the fresh air savouring these few hours of morning.

Not far from here lies a stretch of woodland called, ‘The Aêtere Woods’. Where the winds continue to blow, the rustling of the leaves never seem to end. Only a few specks of light manage to penetrate through the dense layer of leaves, where beneath always seems so dark and hostile. The trees starts disputing with the wind that is seemingly unwilling to back down unsurprisingly, leading into a more fearsome battle where the sky casts down its turbulent winds mercilessly and the leaves start to batter against their branches aggressively. The bickering between the two elements rages into a crescendo of roaring winds and hissing trees. Amongst the conflict, an odd but familiar tune whispers across the woods. Suddenly, the conflict between earth and wind ceases. The woods become silent apart from the tune that continues to play…
