Hey there fellas, just thought I would give you a quick update of how my life is progressing. XD like you guys care right? Well here are the major areas I'm concerned with.
School:
School is going pretty well at Community. I'm just a bit behind but not too terribly. One solid night of work and I'll be caught up.
Now, this year I'm doing something a little different and I'm actually doing well established extracurricular activities. I'm Sarge. at Arms on the Student Leadership and I'm a member of the PaY comity. (PaY stands for Philanthropy and Youth) What we do is; we have 5 grand to give to various charities around the community. X3 I'm really excited to do some actually good!
I'm a little nervous about colleges. There was a fair today and it opened my eyes to several new possible career area's. Not only am I really interested in getting my degree in Library Sciences but I'm interested in Early Childhood Education and Internal Fetal Medicine. . . though I don't think I have the high school requirements for those. . .^_^ Well, that's what counselors are for! I have an appointment with mine for Friday morning. I'm gonna ask her about my credits and if there's any way to boost my GPA more quickly.
Work: -_-'' sadly, I haven't been very lucky in the work department. Kohl's lost my application so I'll have to submit a new one. I have one for Subway that I need to fill out and hand in and I'm looking into Taco John's. (hey, it's better than McDonald's.) Though Megan gave me a great tip for a retirement and rehabilitation center! I hope to work there but mom doesn't think so >_< she won't take me to get an application...
Drivers License: Again, sadly, I'm not making much headway here. Mom's been too nervous to take me out to learn. I know I need to but..when do we have the time? By the time she comes home from work we're both super tired and I'm busy with homework and she's ...doing something...reading or cooking...arguing with dad or whatever -_-'' There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day, ya know?
