I was drinking some beer I heard a cannon fire.
I told the crew and they armed themselves.
I saw a ship it was glowing green I could barely see
I couldnt believe my eyes it was the flying dutchman
I shop a cannon it went right through
I told the crew it was time to scoot.
I promised never to go to sea again.
I saw a man his eyes glimmered with love just like a dove
I changed my name got new clothes met the man of my dreams
Had a son named him Joseph.
He said when he grew up he wanted to sail I turned pail
