The Allure Of Magic
This is the tale of a boy and girl. The boy hears strange music that seems magical to him, it seems to speak to him. So he follows the music and sees a beautiful girl standing by a window, playing the music on the most beautiful violin the boy had ever seen. The boy stays to listen to the songs she plays. When she is finished the girl turns around and sees the boy looking at her. “Your music is the most amazing I’ve ever heard.” he says. “Oh why thank you, I didn’t know anyone was listening.” she replied. “Why would you not want some one to hear the beauteous sounds that come from the sweetest of instruments?” he asked “I am Renaldo Liken may I know the name of the sweet mistress of music?” he added. “I am Sarindia Vernelle my dear Mr. Liken it is of the greatest pleasure to meet you.” she replied. And thus, our story begins.
After they talked for a few hours it began to get dark and Renaldo had to leave. “Goodbye sweet gentlemen, oh how I hope my dreams allow night to pass quickly so the sun may shine on the earth and my heart.” Sarindia said. “Do not say goodbye, but instead say good night my sweet dove for we shall see each other again soon.” Renaldo replied. “Then I say goodnight my lovely pear, my favorite of fruits.” Sarindia replied as she waved her new love farewell. She sighed then got ready for bed. “Goodnight mother, I shall see you in the morrow.” she called to her mother before she lay to rest. She dreamt sweet drams of what she and Renaldo might do tomorrow.
As Sarindia awoke she smiled and got dressed in her white gown with the golden cross sewn into the black oval on the chest and the furry grey cuffs. She decided to leave her hair down today as she brushed her long main of wavy brown hair. She put on her black pearl choker. She placed her shiny black heels on her small feet and left her house to meet Renaldo at the fountain in the park. She had brought her violin in case he had wanted to hear her play again. She sat on the bench by the fountain and waited for him to come.
It hadn’t been a long wait. He showed up within 10 minutes. She smiled as she saw him come. “Hello my sweet pear, I am ever so joyous you came.” she said. “Hello my lady dove, I would not let the down if it were for mine own life.” Renaldo replied as he smiled and embraced her tightly. He could smell the cherry blossom perfume on her. Sarindia felt his warm arms embrace her and held him to her. She placed her head on his broad chest and felt the soft cotton fabric of his shirt on her pale thin cheek. She looked up into his deep emerald eyes as he looked into her innocent blue ones. Renaldo leaned forward slightly, his face so close to hears she could feel his warm breath caress her soft pink lips .He closed the distance and their lips met, her heart pounding she kissed him back just as passionately as he kissed her. “Your lips are as sweet as your looks.” Renaldo said once he broke the kiss, which had seemed all too short to Sarindia. “And yours as wondrous as your charm.” she replied. She felt weak but protected as she stood in his arms.
They once again talked for hours and Sarindia played a song for him on her violin, but alas, it could not last forever. “Goodnight my love, I cannot wait until dawn greets us again.” Renaldo said. “Goodnight my sweet pear, nor can I wait for me to be in your arms once more and feel the loving embrace.” Sarindia replied as they once again said farewell.
