"The Beauty of Rebellion"
By Leah Deering.
Preparing myself to be destroyed
I have to try to let some of me go..
The pain inside of my heart,
And what he doesn't know
As i let sadness get the best of me
I put that razor to my wrist
Tracing a thick long line ever so slowly
A gentle spray of crimson mist.
I hold the silver piece, lightly to my lips
Light the small flame, turning green to red.
Inhale deeply, hold it in.
I hold it in wanting my emotions to be dead.
When i feel like i can take no more,
I let it all go.
A white wispy cloud of smoke escapes my mouth
It's so bright, it reminds me of new winter snow...
My body feels kinda light, and i think i know why
It's the amazing feeling. the feeling of getting high.
