I love December so much. And since I met Dalndox, it's kind of become more awesome. > w<
Christmas is nice, but not for the whole present thing. It's just a perk to me. When I was a kid, though, that was the time of year where every person from both sides of my family would come together for two days and party. Granted, the two sides did so separately, but whatever. It was always so fun to see family that only came out around that time of year. Especially my Aunt Laura, who never really comes out here unless for a holiday, or one of her art exhibitions comes out this way (yes, my aunt is actually a bead artist, and pretty famous for it, too).
These past couple of years, though, both sides of my family have begun to come together on Christmas day, which makes it even better. Even though it's gonn'a be kind of less as fun this year. My aunt has had a painful disease for several years, and because she's very natural when it comes to medications and the like, she's refused surgery, which could drastically help her. Now, she can't even get the surgery, because it's spread throughout her body, and the procedure would prove more dangerous than the disease. On top of that, my uncle moved out to Arizona over the summer, and I don't think he's gonn'a be up. Ah well.
It's just the anticipation of seeing my family, and the two week break that I enjoy. That, and December seems to have this cleansing feeling. As if just because it is this month, everything's just a little clearer. Iunno how to explain it.
And since I met Dalndox, it's been fun hanging out with him, and celebrating his birthday in this month. Even though last year was a bit disappointing for him, I'mma try harder to make it better this year. >3
Well, I'm done. I should probably clean up my room... ah well. I gots art orders to finish before then. xD
