They came from nowhere...it reminded me of Them.
I didn't know that it would happen the way it had, I wasn't even prepared for it, but I knew something bad was going to happen.
A man named Noah intercepted Naomi. The moon was full that night, and the air was thick with bad things. Three strangers appeared shortly after had arrived. Noah had attracted them, and they weren't so nice. I didn't want Naomi to be distracted from her original purpose. I had long-since picked up on the thoughts of the fight that should have occured that evening.
They were going to take Noah, and I couldn't allow it. BloodReign sang loudly, and illusions danced in many numbers, but the last of the three original strangers was strongest. She eventually was lost and Noah collapsed. Naomi took my injuries for her own, and I returned to the woods to investigate the link to the strangers and Noah.
It was a very stressful night for everyone, I can imagine...
