Un. The Game
Zinny grabbed the Miltian Costume to the left of her, exiting the small bedroom the Militian had rights to live in. The black haired female entered the bathroom. She held a pair of scissors in one hand, sliding it to the top of her hair. Women weren't allowed in this war, and Zinnia smirked, cutting the long, slick black hair that rested against the end of her back. She tied it up, and cut another long bit, holding the piece she cut. Two feet long?! She put it into a bag, tossing it on the floor. "Well...I suppose I'll grow it later then." she spoke calmly, sighing. The next bell rang and Zinny knew it was time to resume her position as weapon keeper. She held the hilt of one sword, and tied the kamas in a bag, attaching them to the sword's golden gleaming hilt. Dark brown eyes looked down at the weapons before her. She tossed one blade to a male, brass knuckles to a Militian, and held out a bow for the Commander. He said nothing, passing her like she was nothing more than a bug people step on. She made no comment, looking at the male next to her. It was ironic how Zinny joined a Militia where girls were prohibited and she was afraid of men? People questioned that Zinnia couldn't answer. She wasn't allowed to have long hair, and when she discovered she didn't have the need to hide as a man, she was to wear a kimono and clean the weapons. This was sexist. She wasn't to fight, she was to clean weapons and look nice. Good thing the female planned an escape to finally fight with the men who were leaving the next day. She sighed, grabbing the cloth wiping the blades, burning them down, making them sharper. She sighed, night had almost come.
The Army appeared, tossing the weapons to Zinny uncaringly, looking ahead of them in a stright line. She dropped the weapons in their cases and stood up. She entered the Hall to grab whatever they were eating. Market foods like apples, and bananas. She ate it, and left. She turned her head like she was paranoid, entering the Storage Center. She opened the back of the doors, pulling out the golden sword and the kamas. She tucked the kamas inside her kimono, and put the sword along her back. Now with Zinny being in the Weapon Storage so long, she found little passageways around there. She climbed up the hole in the top of the room, pulling herself into it. She crawled into the space, entering the hole that lead to her room. She heard a knock on the door, and a command to come out. She tucked the sword away, pushing it into the bathroom, where her hair had been. No one was to find any of that stuff, she'd be erased and killed off the face of the Earth. She opened the door, hands folding into the sleeves of the kimono. Her Colonel looked at her skeptically, leaving. She watched him before returning. The secret demon peered out, and shut the door finally, pulling the sword from its case.
It wasn't long until morning came. The usual call at five came out, and the Army who were protecting the demons and shinigami left. Zinnia waited until all was quiet, and everyone resumed their position. Good thing she made her own clone who was like her in every way. She followed, her kimono moving swiftly, mimicking her movements. She followed the men, feeling stopped by a man. He was in a white kimono, a red layer underneath. In his hands were a flute, which he quickly grabbed and it became a sword, the bamboo becoming the hilt. He looked at Zinny disprovingly. "If you land a blow on me, a question is earned. If I blow a hit, I earn a question." he spoke in a low bass tone. Zinny nodded. Her first fight that was against someone she didn't know. She gripped the sword, running stright to him, feeling the man take his free hand, and palm her in the stomach. Zinny flew back. "Now I ask. Who are you?" the stranger questioned, and Zinny- with her pain tried to answer. "Zinnia Amakura...." she said slowly, standing up. The man laughed, reading her next strike, a blow to the nose. She ran faster, throwingthe kamas at hit, which he blacked with his sword until the kamas blade's ridged blade caught the blade, hanging there. He quickly tried to push it off, and Zinny thrusted her fist into his nose. "Why are you stopping me?" she questioned. The man smirked. "I am on the God's side. I am God of fighting." he spoke. Zinny narrowed her eyes, feeling the God grab the scruff of her kimono's top, he swung her down, pushing the peak on her head to the ground. "Now, what's a beauty like you doing out here?" he questioned. "I'm joining the war" she stated.
