Today is the concert.
THE BIG ONE.
I'm so scared, too.
My eyes are watering up.
NO, I'M NOT GUNNA CRY.

This just happens when I'm scared.
...And 'cause I'm listening to "River Flows in You".
This guy is AMAZING at piano...

Anyway, I have THREE solos.
One: At the beginning at "Phantom of the Opera"
Its lows and mysterious.
(I'm one of the few flutes who can read that low.)
Two: At the end of "Phantom of the Opera"
Its when the phantom WOULD sing "Help me make the music of the night"
Its very soft, and HAS to be perfect.
Kyah!
(I also get to play the high A flat, because all the flutes (but me, oddly enough) can't hit that note when playing piano (Which means soft, for you known music talkers. XD ))

Three: IMPROV, BABY! WHOOOO!
I WAS supposed to have an improv battle with the other flutes, but Mr. D said I couldn't, because I missed so many Jazz days...
It was just a stroke of bad luck...

So, yeah.

Ends... erm... when it does.

AND, I will be playing flute VERY seriously tonight.
Its going to be in honor of my band director from last year.

I just found out that he passed away on Saturday...

He was a really harsh guy, but I mean... he honored me...
He said I was the best musician that Kirk had to offer.
And that any high school that I went to would be honored to have me...
We always had fun...

...I was crying in school when I found out...

I mean, me and him were always sorta ish with each other, but only because I was mad that Stiltz left, but, still....
Its...
Ugh...
I just miss him.
So, Mr. Arots, tonight is dedicated to you.
I miss you, and I hope you're in a better place...
