Failure
It’s the only word she can use to explain herself
She runs her fingers through her hair
It’s far to knotty and dyed
Her heart no longer beats blood
Just cotton that it’s been sewed up with
She tilts her head to the side giving a loving look
Hers lips pucker then her glance fades to the left.
Her smile replaced with a frown
As she steps off the bed and puts on her coat
"My heart will always belong to you"
She speaks a soft whisper thrown his way
Then walks into the cold, not looking back
As she boards the train she only glances back once
Her eyes falling on the ’North Wales’ sign
And she’ll smile
This is where the memory of her once beloved lives
This is will her heart will remain
Till he packs it up and moves along
