Today has been very eventful, though in a bad way, so far. ><
The past two/three days, my tooth has been hurting me like you wouldn't believe. I wanted to kill someone savagely because of the pain. Yesterday I came home in tears because of it, and I later broke down again at Chris'. Talk about embarrassing. Dx
But anyway. So, today. I woke up a half an hour before my alarm goes off at six. No matter how far I snuggled into my giant comforter, I couldn't get warm. I was shaking all over when my alarm finally went off. When I got up, my body felt so terrible. My hands were so shaky that it took me several tries to unlatch my collar for my shower.
Luckily, my mom let me stay home without a fuss. Usually she gets all upset and tries to convince me that it'll go away. Instead, she just kind of sighed, got up and called me in. Good thing, too. At around nine o'clock, my dad called to inform me that the dentist would be able to fit me in for an emergency extraction.
So my mom, little brother and I set out for Grayslake.
The procedure went very well. The surgeon that I had is a very nice, very funny man. When he walked in, we got to discussing dissection (I made a comment that I was missing a lot in my Anatomy class) and anime a little (was wearing the Anime Club shirt).
They stuck me three times with the IV. The first two were in my left arm, and from what I've been lead to believe, both veins collapsed. The right arm was a lot better. The surgeon said that from now on, whenever I go in for blood work or something, to tell the doctor to go for my right arm. Luckily, they used this freezing spray or whatever to ease the pain of the needle a little. It worked once. xD
I don't remember passing out, and I don't remember waking up. Apparently, when I came to, I started crying. They all said it was normal, that people often got emotional from the anesthesia.
So now I'm here, at home. I get to miss tomorrow, too. It's kind of nice, minus the fact that I'm gonn'a just be in pain for the most part. Part of my jaw hurts right now, but that's mainly due to the stitches. I also can't feel my lower lip. It kind of feels humongous. xD
Well, I'm done. Hopefully I'll be able to go out to the mall tomorrow. Promised Tabby that I'd go along and meet someone. I'd hate to miss out. Dx
