Game programming
I think I know my dream career : to help make video games. I think I might have trouble getting that job unless I'm REALLY good at making games, because I think there's going to be tons of people who want to make money programming games in the future, but I also think that there will always be a strong market in that area. Our modern lives now are full of video games. And although I didn't get the Howl's Moving Castle dvd I wanted for Christmas ( emo ), I did get something very practical. The second edition of Game Programming for teens by Maneesh Sethi. I've read all of Part 1 already. It even has a disk for the demo of the program I'll be using, BlitzPlus. Okay, so I haven't actually started using the program yet, but I've learned a whole lot about how games are made by reading this. I learned a lot of things I didn't know. I've already promised my younger siblings that when I get good enough to make my own first game, they can play it all they want and it will be just for our computer.
