The moods of the month: Depressed, Sad, Disappointed, Unpleasant, Displeased... I could go on and on with the negativity, but I wont.
Its not myself who is of the listed aboves and beyonds.
Just, I don't know. Everyone seems to be in a blllaaaarrr kind of mood lately =/
I wish everyone could be happy for at least one day. It makes me a little depressed myself seeing all these people in such bad moods.
Its gotten so bad, that my good friend Rock doesn't think he belongs in this world. Now I've known Rock since I was born, and I know that this negative Rock isn't Rock at all!! His reason for thinking he doesn't belong is because he is, "Very very different.". But please agree with me when I say diversity is good!! Its what makes the world go round. I'll tell ya about Rock.
Rock was like no other. No matter what happened he always held his chin up high. He is the type to not let anything drag him down. He is the type to fight for what he believes in. He is the type to take matters into his own hands to make them right in his own way. He is very playful and hardly takes anything seriously, until he knows he needs to. He is the type that always looks towards the future in an optimistic way. He is loyal, friendly, rebellious, strong, optimistic, brotherly, strong willed, etc.
Never in all the years that I've known Rock has he shown a weakness. He never ever let things get him down.
And I made him remember who he was, by some simple facts.:
"you should embrace that.
Being different is a good thing, thats the thing that makes people who they are.
You're a great person because your different. Rock shouldn't be so mopey, he stay rugged, remember?
The Rock I know always keeps his head up high, no matter what!! Thats what made Rock different from everyone else. Rock never thinks negatively, he always looks towards the future, and he always does things his own way.
And remember, if you ever hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.
Cheer up, I know everyone has those depressing moments, but you shouldn't let it bring you down."
My night was brightened by the simple, "thank you Smalley" that I received from Rock. He said he just forgot who he was, he said the Navy just got to him.
After that the headline, "I don't belong in this world." changed to, "Hmmm what should I put here?"
Seeing that really makes me believe that each individual can make a difference in someones mood! Spread the words, make people remember, always share a smile and a laugh.
I learned something new tonight, even if someone else is depressed, don't get in a bad mood because of it. Try your best to make them happy by sharing exchanges of wo0ot moods with them. Don't feed off of the negatives, feed off the positives. Always look towards the future with an open and positive mind. Never doubt yourself, not even for a second. Hold pride in who you are, being different isn't something to hate.
