My day just turned to crap... one of the other Directors of the Humane Society(I'm a Board member too) I work with is having some issues with what I'm contributing. He wants to meet with me before the Tuesday Monthly meeting. I know that I don't do NEARLY as much as the rest of them all, with the fact that they all are out and about with ppl (I don't have a car) and at the Center(the Shelter) remodeling and such. But what of the ideas help(when I CAN) that I contribute?

I'm the one who brought up at least 4-5 different fundraising ideas, some of which can be used at OTHER fundraising events (things to sell, etc.) plus some origional ones and one that hadn't been done in like 5 yrs at least and had brought in about 4 thousand $ (the guy looked in to it). I'm even planning on (when I get one -_-* ) giving some of some of my pay from whatever job I get to the Shelter.


I was asked if I could do a quarterly sending in of names and such, or if he should find someone else. It's simple, yeah, but I honestly don't KNOW if I would be able to keep that job long-term. One of the reasons is I have no idea when my internet is going to be shut off for an entire day at a time (which is a long time when ppl are sending you stuff almost everyday or when you NEED it that day) because ppl are getting a attitude (My mum and her bf can shut down the living room internet whenever they want, with/without warning, and they don't hold the Shelter as that inmportant)

I suggested that he find somone who could do it for sure long-term, so we wouldn't need to find someone later. I got up today and had an email from him saying how dissapointed he is in me, how much others were doing, and that I'm not a "full contributing member"(direct qoute)
