I've been planning on getting a black wolf paw print on my shoulder for years now. And when I found out about UV reactive ink: done deal that it was going to be involved in some way.

Just had to figure out how, without compromising my original vision.

Decided that I still wanted the print in solid black, though I'm flexable I think, if I need to open up space inside it like a keyhole pattern, with a UV design to pop out with as small a day-to-day heads up as possible.

Tonight I was digging through my brain trying to narrow down something to represent the fandom/otaku/ what-have-you culture to a simple symbol. As it has played an enormous role in setting me on the path towards coming into my own and keeping my head through the years. Didn't work. I didn't want anything specific to a show/manga/sub-culture, but didn't want anything general like a sakura.

So I started looking up characters: Shinobi (I always loved the blade over heart meaning but wouldn't fit because that would mean that I actually would be putting more action into things than I do.) , ai (hopeless romantic). A song popped up in my head, one of the Bleach covers "Echoes" and the word "koe"

Finally found what I wanted. I looked the character up, after things like "song" and "sound" and almost cried. It covers what I want.

One word at times can refer to how mine isn't heard or listened to. Or how I love to join mine with others in song or sing alone. How a voice can strike my mind and stay with me for years when I can't put a name to the person.

And so many others.

Now I need to think colour(s) and if I want a small design to go with it/how to be situated. I'm thinking of seeing what the tattoo artist thinks. I have this much thought out, I would like them to be able to put a little if themselves in it too. Fitting as how much of my time/energy is spent on others. In good and not so good ways.
