When I arrived five years ago, it was just the Captain here. He said the fugitives were easy to spot but in a city so large he wanted an extra pair of eyes to help find them. But when we finally caught number two, the others changed. They gave up the better portion of their abilities to become almost perfectly human. Soon, it became clear...just the Captain and myself weren't enough.

I'm young for my rank, a Second Class Judicator. It's rare for someone my age to be given such a high position. Even rarer for someone of my class to go through the gate to the human side. I don't hold the humans in the same level of contempt as Stroder does. He says they smell. I don't notice it, and its made my fitting in easier. I have the unique privilege to go to a school in the city since I look like a young teenage human. It's strange but there is such an under current of unusual phenomenon in this city and the kids at the school are so fascinated by it that they have clubs for it.
I joined one that I think is investigating fugitive number Ten. It sounds like Ten from what the witnesses on this thing called the "internet" said. I don't know if the others have any leads on the rest of them. But, if I keep working on it and we catch one, that's one more step closer to going home and back to my duties.
