...today I'm gonna talk about MY life in this journal, not the waffle plots.
'Kay, so, today's my Hebrew birthday ('cause the Hebrew and English calendars are different). So today I'm unofficially 15, yay!
And today I had to restart my computer because of a system update (Mac OSX 10.5.1), and when it started again, it was BROKEN.
It was stuck in a loop of Setup Assistant (where it asks you to register your computer).
Normally I would just go to the Genius Bar in the Apple store at the mall, and today I was even planning to go to the mall BEFORE my computer broke, so that's good, right? No, don't be silly, we couldn't POSSIBLY let Nova have a good birthday! Of COURSE I can't get an appointment till 10.45AM tomorrow, it would be too easy otherwise!
Well, I'm lucky I have a smart dad. He's doing something right now that should fix it (we're pretty sure it broke because of a failed software update, and he's reinstalling the update through FireWire... does anybody here even get what I'm saying?).
And if that doesn't work, then we're going to have to reinstall Leopard. I'd lose everything new since a few weeks ago, probably, but it's better than nothing.
And if that doesn't work, my dad said he'll take my computer in to the Genius Bar tomorrow and let THEM deal with it. Of course, THAT would take about a week and a few hundred dollars, but... meh.
So that's it. And if anybody actually cared enough to read down to here, you deserve a medal! Or something equally shiny, anyways.
Yeah. I might post an update later... who knows?
