• This guy has a boatload of money from his profession and yet spends quite a bit of it on cheap cigarettes and a variety of chocolate bars.

• If Ruben's not so busy buying that, he's buying sausage and meat to feed the stray cats and dogs around the neighborhood.

• Rube's tried to quit smoking on his own, but actually needs help. Won't get that help, though, unless he reaches out. Being an assassin that prefers to be alone and secretive makes that hard, though.

• Ruben's teacher was murdered by the same serial killer that murdered Iris Roderick.

• It's important to note that he considers Arnold Swanson more dangerous than him sometimes because he's witnessed his behavior in the underworld.

• Also, because he knows Arnold Swanson, he also knows about Ebele Roderick and her family, too. However, he's oblivious to the fact that she thinks he's some poorly written character Arnold jotted down in boredom.

• Ruben struggles with his feelings because all his life he was taught to suppress them. Underneath that stoic demeanor is a troubled, emotional man.

• Ruben stalks Bernadine Roderick on certain cases that involve his clients.
