My life currently sucks. My mom is all "2007 is going to be a great year for us", but its not. DEFINETLY not. So I tryed out for this play at my theater group. And I did amazing at the auditions. Everyone said so. And not in a way in which people try to make you feel good. And so when the cast was announced, I saw that I got a 3 line role with no singing at all. I was crushed! I wasnt expecting the lead, but I was expecting a role that showed off my talent, unnlike the one I got. That was unfortunate event #1.
Everyday in the school hallway something bad happens to me. I've gotten bumped into by huge kids, or gotten called a zuchini by this annoying boy. I always drop my books. I was fine before the year started. Now 2007 has cursed my life, and theres still 11 months left! HAPPY DAYS!

So I went to a wedding on New Year's Eve! It was so fun! I danced all night, and at midnight ballons dropped from the ceiling and everyone was on the dance floor with noisemakers and stuff. And the food was incredible! The mashed potatoes were purple, which is a bit odd, but they were still delicious!

So I went to see Wicked on Broadway. It was amazing! I love the music and I've been singing it ever since.
So it is about Elphaba, this girl who by some strange birth defect is born green. In colledge she meets Glinda, a spunky air-headed girl who just cares about being popular. A teacher tells Elphaba that she is going to be able to meet the Wizard of Oz, and she is deathly excited. But then she finds out that the wizard is a fake! He starts a conspiracy, calling her 'The Wicked Wicth of the West' , and makes all of Oz hate her. Meanwhile, the officials in Oz try to kill her boyfriend, Fiero, for protecting her, so she turns him into a scarecrow, so he cannot die or feel pain. To stop her sister from shrinking her husband's, Boq's, heart, she makes him a tinman with no heart. Elphaba doesn't know what to do because all of the Witch Hunters are on her trail. She shares her last moments with her dear friend Glinda. When little Dorothy comes to Oz and throws a bucket of water on her, she pretends to die, and lives in hiding with Fiero for the rest of her life.
I know this synopsis sucks, but don't let it ruin your play watching experience. The play is amazing, no matter how dull my bad writing makes it sound, and the music is the most incredible that I've ever heard.So if you go see have a great time, and I'm sure you will love it.
