Just something I thought to write when I got home blaugh heart
Things I have Learned:
-I do not like fire ants. :-/
-Florida ppl NEVER use their turn signals
-GA ppl like to speed & cut u off..even if there’s a cop around.
-FL beaches are beautiful.
-Driving from Ohio to FL takes FOREVER... especially if you drive straight through.
-Rock music keeps me from falling asleep.
-According to Val, my driving sucks.
-People like to stare at you as they pass.
-Driving through the mountains while it’s raining at night ... SUCKS.
-My car doesn’t like to go past 45 mph with the AC/Heat on, even on a flat road.
-There are highways out there where you can go 70 and it's not considered speeding.
My firsts on this road trip:
- Driving cross country by myself from 11:30 pm-8 pm the way there and 12 noon to 2 pm the way back.. (Yeah on the way back I stopped in the middle of the night and slept in my car in the mountains :-/ .. that's why it took longer...)
- Getting a Sun tan.. ( I usually burn)
- Getting totally trashed in fl… haha... that was fun.. Until we got back to the house :-/
- I actually went the speed limit the whole way there… mostly because my car doesn’t like to go fast.
- Meeting those friends I’ve known since I was 14 biggrin
- I played in my first Texas Hold’em Tournament, I came in like 16th?
- Played darts on a real dart board, with real darts!
- Seeing an East coast beach in Fl
- I seemed to develop allergies in Fl that went away once I got back home… weird… I’m usually not allergic to anything…
- Go Carts & Mini Golf in one day
