Today my friend asked me "If you are pagan why do you still celebrate christmas?"
I replied "Because of yule."
The look that he gave me and the energies that came off of him where of so much anger, so much hate, that I wanted to turn around and go home. He made me want to leave him because he just couldn't stand my responce.Thinking back... I should have... I made me realise two things.

One: That he would never just accept that I had a diffrent religion than him, that I not just like but love to live in.

And Two: That that would be exactly how the majority of my family would act, if not more violent, if they ever found out.

Now I am at home realising that in less than a year I will lose him because of his inflexibility. That fact depresses me greatly. And I am scared for my well being if any of my family ever found out.

What a hell of a way to celebrate christmas eve.
