Discrimination. Not that I've suffered it but it's just cruel. What's so different about us all? Our skin pigment, what country we're from, how we talk, the way we do things...why the hell does it matter? Maybe it's because people are too stupid or ignorant for their own good. Not only that but it's because people are afraid of anything different than them.
I was taught to respect everyone, no matter how different they are from you. Perhaps others were taught different. What great parents. Another reason why is because when you are around a group of people the same as you for a while, and when someone different comes along, the group chooses to treat that person as a
'thing' rather than a person. Because it's easier to understand a thing than a person.
It's okay to make jokes about race when you're about close friends...but saying it anywhere else with perfect strangers,... it's just plain stupid.
