Yeah so I was rock climb a few days ago, and fell. People would be thinking hey not a big deal its just a fall plus your strapped into a harness and tether anways. Nope, not in this case. Well I had been climbing for about four hours. My dad was on his way to pick me and my friend up, I decided one more run before I go. Well, When I started it was their second to hardest wall they had there. No one was in the room with me keep that in mind for my stupidity that shall be revealed. I was on the second to the last panel at the top, I knew I had to spring for the next hand hold. As I jumped I just barely caught it in a pinch grip, when gravity went NO!!! An slammed *air qoutes* down, I thinking as I'm fall "The rope will catch me." nope I was free falling the equivalent of two stories feet first. From the front office you heard a blood-curdling-scream, then a loud 'thud'. When they rushed back there to see what had happened, I was on the floor frantically trying to take off my climbing shoes. I had twisted my left ankle, and pulled a muscle in my right elbow. The manager said I was lucky I didn't break anything, as I limbed out of the gym with my dad, my friend, and a grin. The next morning I was soooo sore but it was barable.
An that folks is why you don't go climbing rock walls without the tether attached...Its not health. XD
You have enemies? good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
