Paradise Burning
I see the pitch forked tongues of the flames licking and consuming the object of my solstice.
I hear the cries within and see the faces red with the fire light as they burn to ash.
This paradise is lost to me set ablaze by the person who in my world of strife gave me this paradise for I see her holding a torch with its red hot fire.
Now I see my paradise all a flame as if a party of flaming spirits danced about and consumed everything as to feed their hunger.
What tears do I shed in the face of the heat from this blazing inferno before me?
The world was cold and only drove me numb, but the fire from my burning Paradise has left me burned and full of ash.
I now sit and look through this pile of ashes of my paradise and turn to see the ice of the world has melted.
Now the search for another paradise begins.
