wow, i havn't written here for a while (cont.)
That green color on my other post looks really bad. Oh wellI don't remember where I was, I probably should've read it before i started typing. But i have a new thing to talk about now. My sister (the one that had started to come up the stairs) decided it'd be nice to pick up my brother from Drama Club and I wanted to go with her because the people there are awesome (I'm in it too but I wasn't in the scenes they were practicing today) Anyway we got these awesome whistle pops yesturday and i hadn't had mine yet so i brought it along. (those things are so cool!!!!!) I mean you blow on them and they whistle! and if you move the stick thing its on it changes pitch!!! How cool is that???? Anyway I guess its a little distracting because when we got there (I guess it had just gotten out because like everyone was there) I had whistled and she had tried to shut me up so she drove up on to the curb. Tyler was there but it wasn't like totally embarrassing because were friends and he kind of knows Ana (my sister) and he came over and gavce her i high-five! Since she's only 16 and got her license about 6 months ago, it looked like she's a really bad driver (and she isn't though) but it was funny just the same. Wow, I've spent about as much time on this one as I had on the last one (maybe a little more) and this one is like twice as long. Maybe because I knew what i was going to type maybe not oh well. So yeah, my fingers are getting tired. But that just made me think of another story to tell so I'll tell it. We had author Michelle Paver come to our school for the book Wolf Brotherand they tried fitting the seventh and eigth grade in the small gym. When I say small I mean 1/2 the size of the big gym but it's still small for 2/3 of the school! We were all crammed up like shoulder to shoulder and my foot fell asleep (that's what made me think from tired) and it was during 8th period which is choir for me and that made me think of another thing. Last Saturday we had our District Contest and i had a solo. When I got up there I sang the wrong verse! it was our first song and i had to hold back tears until the end. I knew that we had gotten 1 superior ratings ever since the school had been opened (all right the past 2 years it's a new school) and if we got lower than it'd probably be all my fault and everyone would be mad at me for messing up the song. But when we were walking back down to the room we started in i was crying so hard and everyone asked what was wrong and I told them that I had messed up the words, sang too quietly, and to me sounded a bit shaky and sharp and the timing was messed up. But i love those guys man, they were all encouraging me and they were saying things like, " Oh you did way better than i would've done" , "Oh you made it fit! I didn't even realize that you messed up until *so and so* told me!" "You did great that's nothing to cry about" and they made me feel a lot better. Even the director came up to comfort me. When i found out we got a rating of...1 i was so relieved!!! Then today the teacher spoke to us today and said that it was a real bummer a lot of our parents missed it (the school right before us had cancelled so our time was moved up and they wouldn't let anyone in until it was over...my mom went and yelled at the people at the front and demanded a refund, she even cut in front of the person that was at the front of the line to yell at the person who was selling the tickits--she was MAD!!!!!) anyway our teacher said that it was a bummer that the parents missed it because she said that she overheard one of the judges tell one of the ticket people that our choir was the best they heard all day!!! how exciting!
