Well, I went to emergency care yesterday since the main hospital is closed on Sundays. Sat around for 2 hours before I actually got to see a doctor.... I'm not really sure if she was a doctor, actually confused She took a throat swab to test for Strep. and told me they'd call in a few days with the results and sent me home. Hello!? No pain killers or antibiotics? Even if it is viral and not bacterial, the antibiotics aren't going to kill me while I'm waiting for the results, and pain medication would put me out of a little bit of my misery. Luckily, my mom had some perscription Ibuprophen from when she broke her foot. 4laugh I'm a happier camper now, but HMO's still suck a**. Going to Kaiser was the biggest, most miserable waste of 2 1/2 hours of my life. stressed
