But forgetting you is even harder
I can't just turn away and leave
Whispering you name at night
Staring at the clock
That seems to be stuck at three AM
Wondering why I just can't let go
What has captivated me
Why the hell I can't move
The thoughts race and race
My sleep slowly draining away
Barely able to clutch
At the last strand of sanity
See what you've done to me
This isn't easy
I wish you would hate me
So I wouldn't have to lay wake
Staring at the wall
Just push me away
So I don't have to suffer anymore
Hate me today
And maybe tomorrow
I can forget about you
