Chapter 2
New School
I woke up in the morning at 6:00 happy as ever that Tray would be coming to my school. I got up and headed tword the bathroom and i opened the door and saw that Tray was in the shower and closed the door emditly and then giggled. I hope he didn't hear me open the door. As soon he was out and dressed I hopped in the shower. I got out and got dress and went out to eat some breeakfast, and make Tray breakfast too. I made him Breakfast the we sat on the couch to wait for the bus.
"Tray can I ask you a question?" I said blushing.
"What?" he said.
"Well there is a dance on of my friends is having and I dont have a date and I was thinking we could go together as friends?" I asked.
"I would love that," he answered leaving me in amazment.
The bus we got on and waited for Chris to get on, Tray sat with me of course. Chris got on and gave ma a dirty look, I just smiled back.
"Who's he?" Chris asked.
"Chris this is Tray, Tray this is the one that is throwing the party," I said.
"OK hi Tray but any way Sam do you have a date yet," Chris said with a huge scary smile.
"As a matter of fact I do, and I would go with you," I said.
"Who are you going with?" he said quitly.
"Tray," I said as Tray nodded.
"We are going as friends," I added.
We go to school and I brought him to my first class that of course we had together. As soon as I walk in the Mimi Walked up to me.
"Who is your cute new friend, Sam," Mimi said pulling at Trays black tie.
Tray smacked her hand. We walked over to my desk and he sat down right next to me. As soon as I sat down he tappend me on the shoulder.
"I don't like her," he said very quitly.
"Don't worry I dont either," I said laughing.
The day went by quickly even though Mimi was stalking Tray and I. During Choir I herd Tray sing for the first time. He was really good, he got the chair right in the row before me. When Mr. Johnson told us to take out Scales and Arpegios, Tray looked at me and said.
"Gay song," he said as I nodded.
So he took a piece of paper from his notebook and crumpled it up and threw it at Mr. Johnson.
"Since you are new here I will let that go this is a warning," said Mr. Johnson.
Tray turned around and smiled, I laughed. After school we walked home together leaving Mimi steaming in her shoes.
The next day didn't come so easy, when I walked into the science class room with Tray, Mimi came up to Tray.
"Why are you hanging around her, you should hang around with me not this loser," she said snotty as can be.
"She isn't a loser," yelled Hailey from the back of the room.
"Yes from my point of view you are the loser," said Tray smiling.
Tray put his hand around my neck and on my solder and walked me to my seat. I sat down and put my hands on my lap, and Tray put his hand on top of mine and smiled.
"Thank you," I whispered.
The rest of the week went so smooth Mimi never bothered me. Tray was always at my side when she aproched me. He kept me close at his side to protect me like no other guy has ever done. He was a great friend. It was Sunday and Tray and I were going shopping. I was going to bye a beautiful black and white gown for the party. Tray was going to get nice clothes but not to formal. We were shopping for hours till I found the perfect dress, he had already had his clothes picked out. We walked home together proud as can be. We weren't together, but we were the best of friends.
"I can't wait till Tuesday, Tray," I said very happy.
"I know I can't wait either, you are going to look pretty in that dress," he said cool as can be.
"Thanx," I said blushing really bad.
We went ot bed after a long day of shopping. I woke up in the morning to Tray looking at me in the face.
"Wake up," he said with his smiling face.
I got up and got ready for school as normal. Tray giving me a good morning hug, as usual. The day went by great. I like science the most because Mimi epologized to me and told Tray sorry for being a total b***h. We got home and cuddled up on the couch and talked about the party till we had to go to bed.
"Samantha, good night hug remember?" he said.
He hugged me but it was different than normal, he held me tight my head on his solder.
"I will never let anyone hurt you I promise," he said proudly then walked of to bed.
