My Greatest Challenge

The challenge that I chose is known, and it does put me in quite a predicament.My greatest challenge is my hair. I really thought about this and it is something that may hinder me throughout my life. My hair has all sorts of problems. One day it will cooperate, other days, it's like wrestling with a brick wall, I can't win. My first problem is the color. Anouther thing that I will overcome is the problems that come with my genes. Next, is how tangled it will get. Now, if you think these are no problems, you should listen to me.
Ahh, yes, the color. If you can't tell, it is bown, or is supposed to be. I died it a few years back, and the top layer stayed a light brown to dirty blond. I'm afraid to die it again, because it will get damaged from the contents of the die. The bottom layer is brown, the color it should be. I can't wait for it to darken because I like to go outside in the summer, hich is probably anouther factor of why it is this odd color.
Genes, my mother and aunt had poofy, yet thick hair. When it is wet, it is so poofed out, if you throw a pensil in there, it will take a long time to find. I tried straighters and hot oil treatment. The straightener breaks my hair and the hot oil treatment does nothing, I learned this from my cousin. I have split ends, there are so many, my split ends have split ends! When I get it cut, my hair dries out and I get split ends. I also get frizzyness from my beloved family. I try not to blame my genes, but it all pretty much trails back to guess what, my genes.
My hair will get tangled from the slightest breese. I take a brush almost everywhere. I made a mistake once of not taking it and, it looked terrible. That was a sad day.I can't use combs because my hair is too thick and tangled. If I can brush my hair around every hour, I'll be fine. I never understood why my hair could be so poofy and tangled at the same time. Why, heck, I'm no cosamatologist.Yet I really want to know what would happen if I went to one. I bet they could help me. If my hair stays this agile, I will have to keep it up in a ponytail or something.
I was quite befuddled when I thought of a soulution that would work for all of the problems. I am willing to try shampoos and conditoners and other hair care products. This will be overcome. At times I may want to give up but I won't.I will remain nonchalant and find a way to help my hair. If there's a way, I'll find it. This is my greatest hinderance and I will work through it to the end.
