Today I spent many hours with one of my bestest friends; Charity.
Charity is my small cute little ball of pure evil.
I love her so much. <3
Anywho, we were set loose to wreak havok upon the movie theatre/ Rolling Hills Plaza.
<<;
Man, did we have a crazy time.
We started out our adventures by purchasing our tickets.
Seeing that we had two hours to ******** around with
We made haste to Rubios, a lil' mexican resturant we eat at religiously when
we go to the movies. >>;
I of course order a chicken burrito with guacamole and no beans. Yummy. <3
And she ordered a dinky lil carnita thingy, since she has a small tummy and doesn't eat much.
So, we ate our food, talked about stuff, and set out for our next quest: the japanese super market.
We had gone there originally to get some japanese sweets for the movie...
Buut it didn't really work out that way.
After I choose out a good quality piece of melon pan (I stood there a few minutes feeling each one to see if it was good enough. >> wink we were making our way to the sweet section when we saw the gacha gacha box isle...
Gacha gacha is like surprize toys. >>;
Most of the time they don't tell you which one you're getting, and have a list of what you can get on the outside of the box. Fortunately, most of these ones told you what you were gettings.
So, basically we spent an hour looking at all the adorable japanese toys.
Well, what can I say? I'm a girl and I looooove cute.
So we ended up leaving the store with a few boxes of cute toys. >>;
After leaving the store, we rushed to the theatre, for we were running out of time.
And we saw The Fountain.
All I can say is wow.
Just wow.
It was an amazing movie.
I can not describe it.
It was like the ultimate love story, science, religion, mystery, mythology; all mixed into one.
It was simply amazing.
Charity and I are prolly going to see it again next weekend.
It was full of symbolism
And a little difficult to follow at some parts.
But, my God, was it good.
I loved it.
Anywho, after the fantastically-wonderful movie
We went frolicking to the japanese book store.
While there we found a one dollar manga sale...
We went a little crazy and bought nine books. >>;
It would have been so much cooler though
Were the books in english. <<;
But we bought them for the art, which is beautiful.
I really like the ones we chose out.
I'm going to have a hell of a time translating though. xP
But you know, as they say, a picture is worth a hundred words?
Anyway, I had a great time.
It's always fun going crazy with Charity.
She is so much fun. :]
I feel bad for the people around us, though.
I'm sure we scared quite a few. >>;
So, simply put:
Today ******** rocked. :]
