Dream of Shadow It's dark in this room. The only things that are lit are a bunch of computers and the monitor on a screensaver at the far end of a room. You can faintly hear a beep at second intervals, it's coming from the far end of the room where the idle computer is. You walk to the computer and it has a typical rebounding windows icon on it. As soon as you move the mouse a bit, the computer springs to life. The background on the desktop reads "Project Shadow" and as soon as you read that, the lights in the stasis tube next to you lights up, revealing a floating black fox with slowly glowing markings on it's ears and legs. Due to the tempo and the calm green hue of the glow in the markings, you feel he is at rest. You look back down at the computer and realize somthing is loading. The window reads, "Wake Sequence, Active" and seconds later the creature in the tube is shocked violently. It wails as millions of volts course through him and seconds later it stops. The creature goes limp for a second and wakes up showing his natural blood red eyes. His markings are now pulsing rapidly. When he looks at you, his markings fade back to what they were at rest. Slow and paced, but the markings are yellow, signalling that he is scared. The contact between eyes are long until finally the creature communicates. "Help me..." it cries.
