Maxx wasn’t about to fight me again, at least not much. Once my transformation into an uncontrollable state was complete, I started to fire blasts of power at him left and right. He blocked or dodged. Once he was close enough, he pinned me onto the ground using his arms. I flared and kicked, but it was no use. His face was directly above me. “Let go of me!” I screamed.
I felt a drop of a tear. I looked up in his eyes to see a tear had fallen. “Why?” I asked quickly.
“I can’t bear to see a friend hurting.” He whispered. I stopped moving for a moment. That was all it took for Maxx to pry the darken crystal from my hand. The change in power made myself weak and I was losing consciousness. “Don’t worry. They’ll be coming soon.” Maxx whispered as I heard crashing and breaking of ice.
I woke up in a bed that had white sheets. I was all alone in a room, but I could here voices. “Is she asleep?” A voice asked.
“Yes.” Another voice added.
“Good. Now let’s get to the point. Do you really think it’s her?” The first voice asked.
“Almost positive, she resembles him, doesn’t she?”
“ Does she have the seal?”
“Yes, but it can only be seen with magic.”
“Where is it?”
“Seals are located on both ankles, wrists, and her stomach.”
“That’s very interesting. She may be strong enough to defeat him.”
“Excuse me, may I see her?” A different voice asked. It was Maxx’s voice.
“Go right ahead.” A cold voice replied.
I heard a creak of a door opening and saw Maxx’s face pop through. I tried to lift my arm, but it wouldn’t do as I willed. My arm just laid there completely still and lifeless. He sat beside me on my bed. He grabbed my arm, noticing it wouldn’t move as I wanted it to. “I’m sorry, Sora. They came and helped us escape the dungeon, but I didn’t know it would end like this.”
“What are you talking about?” I managed to mumble.
“They’re going to run experiments on you. They’ve started to, so-so that’s why you can barely move. I can’t do anything about it.” His voice dropped and his hand gripped harder on mine. “I’m so sorry.”
A voice said from outside the room, “There is another visitor. Maxx, you will have to leave.”
Maxx, wait. What happened to Jason and Zaku?” I mumbled.
“They escaped.” He answered. He walked out the door and someone else walked.
“Do you remember me?” Asked the new vistor.
That girl voice in my head said, So it seems he’s back…
