Edwin couldn’t believe his luck. He had finally been asked out by Sakura, the girl he had loved ever since he met her. They were to go for a walk in the Secret Forest, to go to Sakura’s special place. Little did he know, that Sakura believed that if she ate him, she would gain immortality.
As they started walking, Sakura suddenly ran off. Edwin ran after her, but was unable to catch up. Just then, he heard her scream, and ran towards her.
“What’s wrong?” Edwin asked, a look of panic on his face when he noticed that her arm was bleeding.
“My ring bounced into that cave! When I went to get it, something attacked me!” Sakura replied.
“Don’t worry. I’ll get it for you.” Edwin exclaimed, and entered the cave.
Twenty minutes later, he emerged from the cave holding her ring in his hand.
“Sakura, I found your ring and there was nothing in—“ Edwin started, but suddenly stopped when he realized that Sakura wasn’t there.
Crack! Something hit him on the back of the head. As he fell, his last image was of Sakura, holding a pipe in her hands.
When he finally came to, he was chained to a round table that had a pentagram carved into it. “Where am I?” Edwin said.
“In my house. I’m sorry, but this must be done. If I eat you, then I will become immortal.” He heard Sakura say. He suddenly noticed that Sakura was standing next to the table, holding a knife over him.
“It’s okay. As long as it’s you to do it, then I don’t mind. I’ve loved you since the day I met you, and I will always love you, no matter what.” Edwin replied a smile on his face.
As Sakura plunged the knife down into his heart, his last vision was of Sakura’s tears rolling down her eyes.
