We have a secret.
Slam! "Sorry! Did you wait long?" Naruto said running towards Sasuke who was sitting on the couch in the small abandoned cabin.
"You're late." Sasuke mumbled. "Welcome home." he said softly.
"He he! I'm home!" Naruto said happily as he held hands with Sasuke before kissing him.
When you're enlisted in the ANBU, its surveillance everyday. You don't even have any free time.
And this little cabin away from the town... was our only place of peace.
"Its so hot.." said Naruto standing in the doorway. "Sasuke is not here yet.." he said softly, "Sasuke..."
There was a noise of cidadas outside the small cabin.
For many years, in this abandoned cabin... we commited the taboos of the darkness.
And in that dirty and dusty mirror, the things that I like... Are lovingly displayed as a sign of our presence.
"Sasuke..." Naruto mumbled. "Sasuke.." he said softly into the mouth that covered his own.
"Hm?" Sasuke pulled away from him and looked at his lover.
"Say..." he looked up at Sasuke, "When the time comes that we are gone... I wonder where these thoughts will go."
Sasuke stared down at him for a moment.
I will never let it be only a memory! Ever..
And many precious seasons were spent in this dark room. This place is a special place.
"Oi..." a Jounin stepped into the small abandoned cabin, the wood creaking underneath his feet. "Is it really okay to tear down this house?" he asked.
"...Yes." a seperate Jounin standing beside the other answered, "There's supposed to be no one living here anymore."
"Okay!" the Jounin said examining the dark room, "Let's start from the outer wall."
One day we came back from a mission... The hidden house had been demolished. It seems it will be turned into a reservoir next year.
"Let's go Naruto." Sasuke said turning away from the empty spot where the house had been.
"But-" Naruto defended as he sat on the branch where the cabin used to be.
If... they say...
"Don't worry..." Sasuke said softly looking over his shoulder at Naruto.
...That all solid things will surely vanish.
"Because until the day I die I will never forget." Sasuke said reaching out his hand to his beloved Naruto.
If... They say...
"Let's go.." Sasuke muttered.
Things that aren't solid are only fleeting...
I will... protect you without fail.
With these hands I will protect you.
